music-by-subscription blues
Thinking of subscribing to one of those streaming-music services? Make sure it can do at least as much as your radio can; that is, keep playing. Have been playing with a few of these lately and was highly annoyed to note that RealRhapsody chose to shut down its stream after "480 minutes of inactivity." Hello, I was very busy there! I happened to be busy sleeping, but what's that got to do with whether I paid my fee for full access "without limits," as the splash page says? There's lots to recommend Real's streaming solution -- love the selection of music -- but for a true better-than-radio experience, gonna be sticking with my three-years-subscribed-and-counting Live365.
