Harry Potter, phone your tailor
On my radio, BBC World Service just concluded a story on researchers who are working on a Cloak of Invisibility. (No link yet, alas, but you can have some good fun on that site if you search on 'invisible.' I'm just saying.) There's some fancy thinking about optics involved, but here's my takeaway: No matter how cool my job is, someone out there is still having just a little bit more fun.
