RAM-a-lama-ding-dong
(Oh, the silly bloghead writer. It is to laugh.) The estimable Sasha Frere-Jones signs in at The New Yorker this week with a great piece on the state of the ringtone art. Though I warmly wished the article to end with something along the lines of "Vibrate is the new polyphonic" ('cause, you know, I'm still in the delusions-of-cool phase), I'm clear on why that's not going to happen, and I enjoyed his light and non-judgmental take on the subject. My luv does not, however, extend to the person who wrote the kicker, who just had to snipe about the cost (which, admittedly, can mount up, but so can gas for yuppie SUVs). Thanks there Mom!
